The new Residence Hall at Northeast Texas Community College is designed to foster interaction among the students while providing a secure living-learning community that promotes academic excellence. There is controlled access to the building, unit and bedroom, as well as doors at each residential wing.
The lounge, adjacent to the lobby, functions as a waiting area for visitors. It also works as space for the residents to congregate and work collaboratively on projects, fostering a sense of academic community.
